    • I’ve carved the underside of the Trailing edge to make the airfoil thinner than all the others, allowing for less lift and more drag in the air when thrown. The result is a lot more range/distance.
Not for the novice thrower but great for competative throwers who want distance.

      Size-(16”x9”)
It requires a very large field (at least 400×400ft) and is best thrown with a good 10 mph wind.Best if thrown 20-30 degrees above the horizon and with 60-70 degree layover (like most LD Boomerangs)Range-(100yrs plus…more distance if weighted on Leader arm)

      Weight-(4 oz)

  • This boom is the same design as the ‘Bluey Hook’, which is similar in design to Blue Star Boomerangs ‘Volcano Hook’.

Roshi Boom

This is a design borrowed from a fellow rang maker Kendall Davis. I’ve named this one in 10ply birch, ‘Roshi’ (master in Japanese) after my beautiful black, short haired, yellow eyed feline friend.

Flies best with a good stiff 7-10 mph wind and lost of snap in the throw. Recommended for an advanced thrower and not a novice.

It flies similar to Bi Nuan Wen and has a soft slow hover easy for catching.

    Range-(60-90 feet)

Weight-(3.5 oz)

Size-(12”x8”)

    Price-($30 not including shipping)

Made for right handed throwers only

I’ve always appreciated and admired the elegance of Chinese characters and thought that engraving the rang written in Chinese would make it unique from the others and provide a special asthetic.

I’ve named the 10ply version I handcraft ‘Bi Nuan Wen’, which is Chinese for ‘no wind boomerang’.Best thrown with a lot of snap and moderate amount of force while aiming 45 degrees away from the wind.

>This is a design taken from a fellow boomerang maker Tom Connoly. It is perfect for the novice thrower as it has a very accurate return and is very adaptable in light to heavier winds.
